RBI Vacancy 2026: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has extended the last date for online applications for 650 Assistant positions. According to the bank, some candidates faced difficulties completing the application process due to technical reasons. Considering this, the new last date for submitting online applications has been set as March 10, 2026, at 11:59 pm. Candidates are advised to complete their applications within this revised deadline.

The Reserve Bank of India has announced recruitment for a total of 650 Assistant positions across its various offices in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, and Thiruvananthapuram.

All Application Requirements
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. (For SC/ST and differently-abled candidates, merely passing is sufficient.)
Candidates must know about computer word processing.

Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the state or region they are applying for.

For ex-servicemen, a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from a recognized university after completing at least 15 years of defense service is required.

The age limit for RBI Assistant positions is set as of February 1, 2026, with a minimum age of 20 years and a maximum age of 28 years. Accordingly, candidates must be born between February 2, 1998, and February 1, 2006, both dates inclusive.

Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS category candidates must pay an application fee of ₹450, with 18% GST additional. For SC, ST, PWD, and Ex-Servicemen (EXS) candidates, an intimation fee of ₹50 has been fixed, which will also be subject to 18% GST. The application fee for current RBI employees is free.
