
While assuming the post of Governor of West Bengal in November 2022, CV Anand Bose had said that he loves Bengal. The reason behind his Bose title is the influence of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. He had expressed his desire to write a book in Bengali. But after 3 years and 4 months he suddenly resigned from the post of Governor and now the time has come to bid farewell to Bengal. Before leaving Bengal, CV Anand Bose wrote an open letter to the people of West Bengal.
At the beginning of the letter, Anand Bose Called the people of West Bengal as his dear brothers and sisters. Expressing his deep gratitude for the love, support and cooperation of the people of West Bengal, he wrote in the letter that even though his chapter as Governor has ended, his relationship with West Bengal will never end. He said that West Bengal is now his 'second home' and he will remain closely associated with this state in future also.
In the letter, Anand Bose remembered the love and honesty of the people of West Bengal. He said that the memories of meeting common people, the enthusiasm of children, the firm handshake of youth and the loving glances of elders will remain priceless for him. Referring to a quote of Mahatma Gandhi, he said, Mahatma Gandhi had said, I cannot leave Bengal, and Bengal will not let me go. He said that the same feeling is working in him also.
In the letter he also mentioned a famous quote of poet Rabindranath Tagore. Where the presence of God among the working people has been talked about. He said that in the last three years he has visited different districts of the state and interacted closely with the common people. He said that the experience of eating food in the homes of common people in rural areas, studying with young students and talking to well-known people is very valuable for him.
The Governor said that the people of Bengal feel very proud of their social values and culture. Which is the identity of Bengali thinking. At the end of the letter he wished for the progress and prosperity of the people of West Bengal. He said that he is confident that Bengal will reach the pinnacle of glory in the coming days. In the end, wishing for the good health and prosperity of the people of Bengal, he wrote, 'May Mother Durga protect my people.'
While leaving Kolkata, CV Anand Bose said that when you enter into any work, there should always be an exit. I got the exit at the right time. TV9 Bharatvarsha asked what was the reason for your untimely exit. He said that as an outgoing governor, there is no need to comment on the current situation.
