Punjab Kings, last year's beaten finalists, will face Gujarat Titans in their season opener on March 29 in Mullanpur.
All franchises have begun preparations for the tournament with camps. The likes of MS Dhoni, Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma have already hit preparation mode without clarity on the schedule.
Reports suggest that BCCI could announce the IPL schedule on March 12. The schedule is likely to be announced in parts, with Phase 1 and Phase 2 depending on election proceedings.
