Soccer player Jorginho Frello has lashed out at actress and composer Chappell Roan and called her out on social media for allegedly sending a security guard to accuse his young step daughter of harassment, leaving the child “in tears.” The incident involved his wife, Catherine Harding, and her daughter, Ada Law, whom she shares with actor Jude Law.
Jorginho, a well-known Brazil-born footballer who represents Italy on the international level and currently plays for Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro, described the entire incident in his Instagram stories, saying that his wife Cat Cavelli (Catherine Harding) and his daughter went to São Paulo for the festival ... where he says they spotted pop star Roan in the lobby of the hotel. She is playing at 2026 Lollapalooza Brazil this weekend.
Jorginho claims his daughter did nothing more than look at Roan and gave a quick smile, making no requests for a photo or an autograph. He further said that a security guard approached his wife and daughter soon after the little girl sat back down at her mother’s table.
The guard allegedly "began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and daughter, saying she shouldn't allow my daughter to 'disrespect' and 'harass' other people." The guard also apparently told Jorginho’s family that he planned on filing a complaint with the hotel against them.
“I went through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier today,” Jorginho began. “My wife Cat Cavelli is in São Paulo for Lollapalooza Brasil. This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited, she even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire," Jorginho said in his Instagram story.
The soccer player said he is no stranger to public exposure and boundaries being violated—he's been an internationally recognizable soccer star since the early 2010s—but he insists that didn't happen here. "Without your fans, you would be nothing. And to the fans, she does not deserve your affection," he concluded the post.
