One such person is actor Aditya Uppal. Aditya has played the role of ASP Umar Haider in the film, who is considered to be the right hand of SP Aslam Chaudhary. The actor has played even this small character with so much passion that even for a moment it does not seem that Aditya is not an actor.
Yes, Aditya is the owner of an ad agency. The actor told how strange his journey has been. When the actor was asked about this role, he said- 'I run my own advertising agency. I got a call from the office of casting director Mukesh Chhabra. He told me that he was casting for a character that matched my looks and suggested me to audition. So, I gave several rounds of auditions, followed by a look test. I was very happy when I got a call from the production house telling me that I had been selected for that role.
On the question of what brief was given by director Aditya Dhar, the actor said - Aditya Dhar's assistant Ojas Gautam gave me a lot of information about the character. Where he comes from, his methods, his professional history and his close relationship with SP Chaudhary Aslam. I got all the necessary information. Also, as an actor, you do your own research to understand the nuances. He told that as the arc of his character changes, he becomes alert and starts paying attention to details.
