Lawns will never not be a deep green colour if you sprinkle on gardener's 1 natural item

There are several factors that can contribute to your lawn not having that vibrant green appearance. Primarily, it's because the soil lacks essential nutrients. Nitrogen plays a crucial role in grass development, and insufficient levels can lead to slow growth and a lighter shade of green.

Additionally, sunlight exposure significantly influences your lawn's colour. If your grass is situated in a heavily shaded region, it's likely to display various shades of green. Without adequate sunlight, it will lose its rich green colour. According to the experts at Suburban Lawn Sprinkler Co., there is a natural item that "benefits the health of your lawn and garden" - and that's Epsom salt.

Epsom salt is an organic magnesium-based salt that is "full of beneficial minerals for lawns".

Iron in Epsom salt, for example, helps grasses to "grow healthy and strong". Meanwhile, the magnesium in Epsom salt balances the PH level in your grasses so that it doesn't become too acidic.

The sulfur component of magnesium sulfate promotes chlorophyll production for a "deep green-coloured lawn".

These minerals also aid in the absorption of nitrogen and phosphorus - two "essential components of healthy grass growth".

The lawn experts added: "Epsom salt will ultimately facilitate the lush green growth and healthy look that you're looking to see in your yard."

To apply it to grass, you can either use a spreader to distribute Epsom salt or dissolve it in water and spray it on.

The experts advised that for every 100 square feet of lawn, use approximately half a pound of Epsom salt.

The pros instructed: "It's important that you do this during autumn or spring months because if you fertilise your lawn in the summer, this will contribute to weed growth, which you will have to deal with later, and obviously, the winter time is difficult to do much with your lawn."
