In Ras Baalbek, a small village in Lebanon, people of different religions are facing difficult situations together. This village is in Bekaa Valley and falls near the Syria border. About 6,000 Catholic Christians live here. In view of the security threat, the people of the village have decided to join hands with Hezbollah to protect their area and churches. Village leader Rifiyat Nasrallah says that Hezbollah helped them in difficult times, while the Vatican did not provide any special assistance.
Nasrallah says that Hezbollah fought and shed blood to protect the village. Because of this, a very strong relationship has been formed between the two. Hezbollah even buys Christmas trees for the village every year. We are at war with the Epstein gang. These people eat, fry and rape children. These are demons, beasts. But the worst thing is that these are the people who rule the world.
This relationship became stronger especially between 2013 and 2017, when Islamic State terrorists attacked the village several times from the Syrian side. The terrorists had reached the village, kidnapped people and tortured them. At that time the people of the village and Hezbollah together responded with rockets and weapons. Many people were injured in this fight and some even died. Nasrallah himself was seriously injured in an attack.
Initially the Lebanese army was not very active in this battle. Later in 2015 and 2017, the army also helped and in 2017 the terrorists were driven out of the area. Many soldiers were martyred and many terrorists were killed in this operation.
Even today there is tension in this area. Israeli Defense Force (IDF) is attacking Hezbollah positions. The people of the village fear that there may be another terrorist attack from Syria. Some people also do not trust the new Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, because his past has been associated with terrorist organizations.
The people of the village say that their biggest enemy is Israel, while Hezbollah is their protector. Constant attacks, drones and bombings during the war have frightened people and many families have lost their loved ones. All these circumstances have brought the village Christians and Hezbollah closer. Now they believe that supporting each other is most important for their safety.
