“Manifesto will have big announcements on women and youth. White Paper is to be published against the ruling Mamata Banerjee government," a highly placed source told ET.

The manifesto is likely to focus on other key issues like governance, development, industry, employment generation for youth, infrastructure building, law and order, and welfare measures for various sections of society. However, the focus will be on youth, women's empowerment, and strengthening both rural and urban connectivity across the state.

Ahead of the manifesto launch, the BJP will hold a series of meetings about poll preparedness and organizational issues with BJP National President Nitin Nabin reaching here on a two day visit, March 24 -25.

During his two-day visit, Nabin will hold detailed discussions with leaders from the party's five major organisational zones: North Bengal, Rarh Bengal, Nabadwip, Kolkata, and Howrah-Hooghly-Medinipur. These meetings are aimed to assess the party's preparedness at both macro and micro levels, party sources said.

The discussions are likely to cover booth-level management, constituency-wise planning, coordination among district units, and strengthening the party's grassroots network, sources said. “Special focus will be on the party's message to voters and maximising outreach through targeted campaign strategies, sources informed. His interactions with zonal leaders will play a crucial role in aligning the organisation with the central leadership's vision and electoral roadmap,” sources said.

Ahead of Nabin's visit, yesterday two crucial organizational meetings today in Siliguri and Durgapur. Following a high-level organizational meeting in Siliguri , the BJP has launched a comprehensive grassroots campaign strategy. BJP Bengal in-charge Sunil Bansal and Bhupender Yadav, Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, along with North Bengal BJP candidates and district leaders, among others, participated in the meeting.

The party is focusing on more door-to-door campaigns and micro-level booth management and informing voters on Central Government welfare schemes to ensure that the vision for a "New North Bengal" reaches every household in the Hills, Terai, and Dooars. BJP aims to focus on budget deprivation by the Trinamool government in North Bengal, blockade of central projects and schemes such as the Har Ghar Jal scheme.

In a similar meeting in Durgapur today, the BJP has shifted its campaign to reclaim Purulia from years of systemic misrule. Led by Bansal, Yadav and Bengal State president Shri Shamik Bhattacharya, the party has launched an aggressive grassroots campaign planning. “The strategy prioritizes direct door-to-door engagement and micro-level booth management to ensure that the vision for a "New Purulia" reaches every household in the tribal heartland, sources said. The party will focus on the lack of development of the ST community by Trinamool, healthcare and education, among other things.
