'Kantara Chapter 1' 'Dhurandhar' actor Ranveer Singh will file an apology in the court in the Chamundi Daiva mimicry controversy case. Last year at the 56th International Film Festival of India, Goa. Ranveer Singh Had made fun of the goddess shown in 'Kantar Chapter 1' by calling her a 'female ghost'. At that time, actor Rishabh Shetty was also present there, who played the role of Daiva in the film. There was a lot of uproar after this and Ranveer Singh even apologized through a social media post.
According to the report of Live Law, during the hearing, complainant and lawyer Prashant Meetal said that the apology given by Ranveer Singh was not from the heart. He said, "Ranveer's apology was not a heartfelt apology. Because he had tweeted the apology on his handle, which is run by his team."
On this, the lawyer appearing for Ranveer Singh said, "We will file an affidavit in the court. We are making this offer, my lord." On this the court said that what the actor had done was not right.
During the hearing, petitioner lawyer Meetal emphasized this point and said, “If Ranveer Singh has called Daiva a 'female ghost' then he himself should apologize for it." On this, Ranveer's lawyer told the court, "My Lordship, we will file an affidavit apologizing."
Justice M Nagaprasanna said during the hearing, "He will have to apologise (apology). A mistake has been made. He should always be remorseful in this matter." When the complainant asked Ranveer Singh to come to the court and apologize, the actor's lawyer said, "My Lord, I will try to apologize before the court. Based on the orders of My Lord, I will also go to the (Chamundi Devi) temple." After hearing this, the court adjourned the case till April 10.
