Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dealt a fresh blow after reports that their Montecito neighbours are "avoiding them". After quitting royal life in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to set up home in Montecito, California.

The couple bought the mansion in the summer of 2020 and seem very happy there. While little is known about their life at home, Meghan does sometimes sharea snapshot on social media of life at the mansion, including her and Harry's children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Although it all seems idyllic, a source has now suggested this is not the case.

This is because it has been reported that Meghan and Harry's neighbours are "avoiding them".

A source told Page Six: "They are avoiding them. No one wants to be seen with them.

"It's not hate. It's just a growing awareness that they're takers with zero self-awareness. Everyone's exhausted by them."

While this claim has been reported, other sources have said that the couple do in fact get on well with their neighbours.

As reported by Page Six, a source close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said: "They have a great relationship with their neighbours and love their community."

The couple are believed to have no plans to leave Montecito anytime soon.

Both Archie and Lilibet are enrolled in local schools, with Meghan and Harry also believed to be surrounded by some of their good friends in the neighbourhood, including Oprah Winfrey.
