Reports indicate that Kai Trump was present at the Miami Open when Tiger Woods experienced a car accident in Florida. The 17-year-old, who is Donald Trump's eldest grandchild, posted several photos from the event on social media. In these images, she was seen with youth golf coach Allan Kournikova and tennis instructor Jason Stacy, who trains world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka. Another photo featured her with Sabalenka after the Belarusian's win against American player Caty McNally. These posts were shared around 2 PM local time on Friday, just before Woods crashed his SUV near his residence on Jupiter Island, located about 100 miles away.
According to police reports, Woods collided with the back of a utility truck that was towing a trailer while trying to pass it, resulting in his vehicle flipping over. Fortunately, he managed to exit the vehicle without sustaining serious injuries. However, authorities noted that he seemed to be under the influence of "some type of medication or drug."
Woods faced charges for driving under the influence, property damage, and refusing to comply with a lawful test. He spent around eight hours in custody following the incident. It remains unclear if Vanessa Trump, Woods' partner, was at the Miami Open with her daughter during the accident. She later posted the images online. Reports confirm that neither Vanessa Trump nor Kai Trump were in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Earlier that week, Kai Trump, along with Vanessa and her younger sister Chloe, attended the TGL Finals in Palm Beach, where Woods had recently made his return to competitive golf. Vanessa Trump, who divorced Donald Trump Jr. in 2018, has been in a relationship with Woods for over a year.
