Andhra Pradesh women’s team wins T10 National Deaf Cricket Championship, defeats Delhi by 68 runs

Gurugram: Andhra Pradesh women’s team won the seventh IDCA Women’s T10 National Cricket Championship for the Deaf by defeating Delhi team by five runs in a thrilling match. Batting first, Andhra Pradesh scored 73 runs for four wickets. In response, Delhi team could score only 68 runs for four wickets. Andhra Pradesh’s D Kanthamma won both the Player of the Match and Player of the Series awards for her stellar performance.

The Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) is supported by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Not only this, he is recognized by the International Deaf Cricket Council and the Asian Deaf Cricket Association. IDCA President Sumit Jain said that this tournament has been continuously emerging promising talent over the years.
