Iran's Military Threatens US Over Potential Ground Invasion

In light of escalating tensions in the Middle East, Iran's military has issued a serious warning to President Donald Trump, advising against any ground invasion of Iran. Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, stated in a video message that Iran's forces are prepared to respond decisively if attacked, suggesting that US troops would face dire consequences.

Zolfaqari accused Trump of being influenced by the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, due to his alleged connections to the Jeffrey Epstein case, claiming that the US President has become a tool for the Israeli Prime Minister in their aggression towards Iran. He ominously remarked that American soldiers would become 'good food for the sharks' in the Persian Gulf.

Following these statements, Iran announced the mobilization of over one million troops and fighters in response to the increasing threat of a US ground invasion. This information was reported by state-affiliated media, which highlighted a significant influx of volunteers eager to defend the nation. A senior military official noted that this mobilization consists of both trained personnel and civilians willing to participate in the defense efforts.

US Troops Set to Deploy to the Middle East

In parallel, the US military is preparing to send at least 1,000 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East shortly, as reported by various sources. This division is recognized as the Army’s rapid response unit, capable of being deployed on short notice. The deployment will include a battalion from the 1st Brigade Combat Team, along with Major General Brandon Tegtmeier and his staff.

Additionally, US officials have disclosed that thousands of Marines aboard multiple Navy vessels are also en route to the region. While these Marine units are trained for various missions, including embassy support and civilian evacuations, the 82nd Airborne soldiers are specifically trained for parachuting into hostile areas to secure critical locations and airfields.
