The third match of IPL 2026 was played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). The match took place on 30 March at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. In this match, Rajasthan won comfortably by 8 wickets.

For Chennai, Jamie Overton scored the highest score of 43 runs, while Karthik Sharma scored 18 runs. The top order could not even cross the 10-run mark. At the same time, Joffra Archer, Nandre Berger and Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets each for Rajasthan. While Brijesh Sharma, Sandeep Sharma and Ravi Bishnoi took one wicket each.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored the most runs for Rajasthan Royals. He scored 52 runs on 17 balls. Yashasvi Jaiswal remained unbeaten after scoring 38 runs. On the other hand, except Anshul Kamboj, all the Chennai bowlers proved to be expensive. Anshul took two wickets for RR.
Chennai Super Kings lagged behind in batting, bowling and fielding. First, Chennai’s top order completely faltered.
