The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has announced recruitment for the posts of Executive Officer and Director (ICAI Recruitment 2026). The application process for which has started from 1st April. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online by 15th April 2026 through official website But you can fill the form by going to the career section.
ICAI has also issued notification to the vacancy. Candidates are advised to fill the form only after reading it. In this, job details, age limit, application fee, selection process, vacancy and other information are available in detail. The total number of vacancies is 109. Out of which, one for Direct Legal and 108 posts for Executive Officer of different fields are vacant.
To apply candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 500. Only after this, payment will be accepted through net banking, UPI, debit and credit cards. After submission of application form, candidates are advised to download or print the confirmation page.
The maximum age limit to apply for the post of Director Legal has been fixed at 55 years. The maximum age limit for Executive Officer (Code 2607 and 2608) has been fixed at 27 years. The maximum age limit has been fixed at 25 years for Executive Office (2602, 2603 and 2604) and 30 years for Code (2605 and 2606).
To apply for the post of Director Legal, candidates must have a graduation degree in Law. Candidates having the qualification of CA/Company Secretary/PhD/Graduate/BE/B.Tech/B.Arch can apply for Executive Officer.
Candidates for the post of Executive Officer will be selected on the basis of computer based test and interview. CBT exam will be of total 150 marks. Its duration will be 150 minutes.
After appointment to the post of Legal Director, candidates will get a salary ranging from Rs 2,05,400 to Rs 2,22,400 under Pay Level 16. After appointment to the post of Executive Officer, the salary under Pay Level 10 will range from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. Apart from this, benefits of dearness allowance, HRA and other facilities will also be available.
