Voice actor Eugene Mirman, recognized for his role as Gene Belcher in the animated series Bob's Burgers, suffered significant injuries in a toll road accident in Bedford, New Hampshire, as reported by state authorities. The driver involved in the incident was identified as Yevgeny Mirman, 51, from Massachusetts. The crash took place shortly before noon on Tuesday, and it was reported that the all-electric Lucid Gravity he was operating caught fire following the collision. Footage circulating on social media depicted the vehicle overturned and engulfed in flames.

A group of individuals, including New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte, her security detail, and several bystanders, played a crucial role in rescuing Mirman from the burning car before it was completely consumed by fire. According to State Police Colonel Mark Hall, a trooper and two bystanders managed to extract him through a window after assessing the critical nature of the situation. Governor Ayotte also exited her vehicle to assist and retrieved a fire extinguisher, although officials confirmed she was not in immediate danger. In a social media update, she expressed gratitude to everyone involved for their courageous lifesaving actions.

Mirman sustained serious injuries; however, they are not considered life-threatening. He was transported to Elliot Hospital for medical attention. A witness reported that the driver seemed disoriented and mentioned the possibility of a child being in the vehicle, but subsequent confirmation from his wife clarified that no child was inside. Firefighters utilized specialized tools, including a fire blanket, to extinguish the flames, while the northbound lanes of the Everett Turnpike were closed during the emergency response. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are currently underway.
