Asked about if soya chunks are bad for women's health, Dr Pal emphasised on its potential benefits. "It is absolutely good source of protein for women, especially in menopause because it will help you with hormonal balance."
"Initially, it can cause bloating if your gut is sensitive. So soak it thoroughly and cook it completely. You will not have any problems," he says. "You can eat soya everyday. Just make sure that you complete your protein intake from multiple sources rather than relying on soya alone," Dr Pal explains.

One of the most persistent myths around soya chunks is that it can mess with your hormones especially for those who have thyroid. Dr Pal clarifies and says, "Absolutely not. The only problem with soya is that you should not take soya along with your thyroid tablets.
