Employees State Insurance Corporation has announced recruitment for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Senior Resident (ESIC Recruitment 2026). It is contract based. The application process has started, last date is 9th April 2026. The application form can be sent through speed post/by hand or email. Candidates are advised to apply before applying.
The total number of vacancies is 78. Out of which, 10 posts are vacant for Professor, 17 for Associate Professor, 9 for Assistant Professor and 42 for Senior Resident. To fill the form, a fee of Rs 500 will have to be paid. Payment can be made through demand draft of ESIC Saving Fund Account Number-2.
Qualification has been prescribed differently for different posts. Candidates having qualification of MBBS/MD/MS/DNB can apply. The maximum age limit for Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor is 69 years. The maximum age limit for senior resident has been fixed at 45 years. Under government rules, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of academic credentials and interview performance. The result will be released in the recruitment section of the official website. Appointment offers will be sent via email. The interview will be conducted in the third week of April.
After appointment to the post of Professor, a salary of Rs 1,23,100 will be given under Level 13. After appointment to the post of Associate Professor, under Level 12, the salary will be Rs 78,000 and Assistant Professor/Senior Resident will get Rs 67,000 per month.
