
Denis Menturov visited India on 23 April. Its objective was to advance the economic and strategic relations between the two countries. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Russian Embassy in New Delhi announced on Wednesday that Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov would be arriving on a two-day visit to India from Thursday. Last year, when India was looking for other export destinations after the White House imposed tariffs, Russian President Vladimir Putin specifically tasked Menturov with increasing India-Russia bilateral trade.
