The world order seems to be changing due to the Iran war. For the first time after 23 years, France, Russia and China have vetoed any issue in the UN. That too against the United States. Actually, Bahrain had put forward a proposal regarding Hormuz before the United Nations Security Council. Had this proposal been passed, Iran's troubles could have increased amid the war, but France, along with Russia and China, vetoed it. Earlier in 2003, during the war against Iraq, all three countries had come together to oppose America.

Russia, China, France, America and Britain have veto power within the United Nations. It is called P-5 i.e. Permanent Five countries. France's vote is also a shock for America because America's upper hand in the UN has now weakened by 3-2.

Why did France come in support of Iran?

Till now, France was keeping a distance in the Iran war, but suddenly it has started supporting Iran. There are 3 main reasons for this-

1. US President Donald Trump was continuously commenting on France. He also made fun of the French President 2 days ago. When the war started, America did not take any advice from France. Later Trump wanted France to fight a war with Iran for America, which was rejected by French President Emmanuel Macron.

2. France's real rivalry in this region is with Israel. France has closed its airspace to all aircraft going in support of Israel. France has also accused Israel of violating human rights. On the other hand, Israel has stopped the deal it had made with Paris regarding arms.

3. According to Bloomberg, for the first time in the Iran war, a French-owned container ship has been allowed to leave Hormuz. There is talk of a deal between France and Iran in Hormuz. Under this, French ships will now be allowed to easily pass through Hormuz.

Effect of joining the alliance of all three
