The summer season has started and the heat is increasing with each passing day. The increasing heat also brings with it many health problems and one of these problems is mouth ulcers. These small blisters may seem minor in appearance, but they can cause a lot of trouble in eating, speaking and even drinking water. Extreme heat, increased heat in the body, lack of water, irregular eating habits and eating too much spicy or fried food are the main causes of blisters. Let us know some home remedies to get relief from this.
coconut oil
Coconut oil has anti-bacterial and cooling properties. Apply gently on the ulcers 2-3 times a day.
rinse with salt water
Adding a little salt to lukewarm water and gargling with it kills bacteria and reduces swelling. Do this twice a day.
Honey
Honey has anti-inflammatory properties which help in healing the blisters quickly. Apply directly to ulcers, 2–3 times a day.
basil leaves
Tulsi has antiseptic properties. Chew 4-5 leaves and drink water from them.
cold milk or curd
These cool down body heat. Drink cold milk or eat curd. Anyway, consumption of curd and buttermilk is very beneficial in summer.
use of ice
Applying ice lightly on the blister reduces pain and burning sensation.
banana and honey
Banana keeps the stomach cool and improves digestion. Eat banana or mix some honey in it.

- Drink plenty of water (avoid dehydration).
- Avoid too spicy and fried foods.
- Eat food on time.
- Eat a diet rich in vitamins B and C
When to see a doctor?
- Blisters may not heal in 10-12 days.
- There is severe pain or frequent blisters.
- You may also feel fever or weakness.
