PSL 2026 Points Table: Lahore Qalandars recorded an emphatic victory over Multan Sultans in a rain-curtailed match at Gadaffi Stadium. The defending champions, coming into this clash after a loss and being in the middle of a ball-tampering controversy, bounced back strongly. Mohammad Naeem, with 60 off 28, and Parves Hossain Emon, along with Abdullah Shafique, lit up the iconic stadium in Lahore. With the game being reduced to 13-overs-per-side, it was a humongous effort to score 185 runs in the first innings.
Defending a huge score of 185, Lahore Qalandars started the second innings strongly. Shaheen Afridi, Ubaid Shah, and Mustafizur Rahman picked up a wicket each in the first five overs. With a 20-run win over the Sultans, the defending champions climbed to the second spot on the points table, having started their night at fifth place.
The Karachi Kings continue their reign at the top of the points table after recording their third win in a row yesterday. Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindiz are the only two teams to have not won a single game so far in the season. While the Kingsmen are placed at the bottom of the table, Rawalpindiz are seventh.
Multan Sultans fell down to third position with Qalandars overtaking them. Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United, with three points to their name, are placed fourth and fifth on the table. Quetta Gladiators with a solitary win in three games are placed sixth on the points table.

With the Multan Sultans opting to bowl first, captain Ashton Turner threw the ball to Ismail, who bowled two four-wides to start apart from the boundary off Mohammad Naeem’s bat. Naeem struck two more boundaries off the next three deliveries but finished it off with two singles. The 26-run over also proved to be the most expensive first over in the tournament history.
