
Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) President MahanAryaman Scindia has taken an important and commendable decision in the interest of women cricket players of the state. Under this initiative, MPCA will now provide monthly financial incentives to all its former women players. This amount has been determined on the basis of the cricketing career and category of the players. Especially this scheme is for those women players who are not eligible for BCCI pension scheme.
• Rs 12,500 per month will be provided to women players who have played international matches for India.
•Domestic level players will be given Rs 6,000 to Rs 10,000 per month according to their category.
•Women players above 75 years of age will be given an assistance amount of ₹ 7,500 per month. This scheme has become effective from 1 April 2026.
He further said that this scheme has been designed on an inclusive and application-based framework, so that assistance can ensure that it reaches the needy players. The MPCA is equally focused not only on the future of cricket but also on honoring its glorious past.
The MPCA committee has also approved the increase in pension of male cricketers and umpires.
•Retired male cricketers now out of BCCI pension scheme:
•14 matches: ₹7,000 per month
•514 matches: ₹10,000 per month
1524 matches: ₹12,500 per month
•Retired BCCI level umpires will be given ₹10,000 per month and state level umpires will be given ₹6,500 per month.
•Umpires above 75 years of age will be provided additional ₹7,500 per month.
Apart from this, the honorarium of umpires, scorers and selectors has also been increased:
•Umpires of inter-divisional matches: ₹5,000 per match
•Scorer: ₹2,500 per day
•Selector: ₹9,000
The incentive amount for coaches has also been revised.
