Someone could be plotting against Kim Tate in Emmerdale following a revealing scene involving Graham Foster.

Viewers now believe they have identified his mysterious caller, who may be conspiring with him. In a recent episode, Kim was rushed to the hospital after choking and collapsing.

Initially feared to have been poisoned, doctors subsequently claimed she had overdosed on her pain medication. While Kim questioned whether she had accidentally taken too much, fans are well aware that Graham had secretly increased her dosage.

It appears he was scheming to kill her, with an unknown accomplice providing him with a double-strength version of Kim's tablets, which he substituted for her regular supply. He swapped them back before informing someone on the phone that his plan to eliminate "the pain in his neck" had failed.

So is the person on the phone involved in the plot, and are they assisting Graham in targeting and potentially killing Kim? Here are the most likely suspects according to devoted viewers of the ITV soap, reports the Mirror.

A fresh theory suggests that Todd is "dodgy" and is aiding Graham. As a doctor, she would certainly have access to the pills Graham was given in his attempt to harm Kim.

But what conceivable motive would Todd have for wanting Kim dead? Fans speculate she could be concealing something, or perhaps she and Graham share a secret bond, and she is assisting him.

One fan suggested: "Bet ya it's the Dr that's harassing Jacob." Another said: "Probably talking to that doctor that is bullying Jacob, she's definitely dodgy." Numerous fans believe it to be Caleb, given his longstanding dispute with Kim and the history surrounding his father Frank Tate, Kim's late husband. The Dingles also pointed the finger at Caleb after he handed her a glass of red wine at the lunch, which nobody else consumed but Kim.

Caleb had encountered Graham prior to his arrival in the village several years ago. It was Graham who informed him of his father Frank's death and Kim's involvement, setting in motion his scheme for revenge against Kim.

All of this was seemingly forgotten, despite his evident contempt for her. So could Caleb and Graham have joined forces once again to finish Kim off once and for all?

It would come as quite a bombshell if it turned out to be a married couple, Lydia and Sam, or even just one of them. The pair are employed by Kim and are regarded as her friends.

Yet could this be an elaborate double bluff? After all, both fans and characters alike wondered whether the incident involving Kim was staged to implicate Lydia, following the revelation that she stands to inherit Home Farm upon Kim's death.

So what if Lydia, or indeed Sam, is merely playing the grieving friend, while secretly coveting Kim's empire? It would undoubtedly make for a stunning plot twist.

Widely considered a strong candidate amongst fans is Jamie Tate, Kim's own son. His relationship with Graham was far from amicable, but could the pair conceivably set aside their differences to bring Kim down?

Jamie despises his mother so deeply that he faked his own death simply to escape her clutches. He made a fleeting reappearance some time ago before ultimately deciding against returning to the village.

Joe Tate had claimed he was in contact with Jamie prior to his own return to the village in 2024. With Jamie keen to keep his distance, could he finally be making a comeback to exact his revenge?

An unexpected theory suggests that the surgeon who previously targeted Kim has returned seeking retribution. She uncovered his scheme and turned the tables on him last time - but has he now enlisted Graham's help to bring Kim down?

Dr. Crowley was the man Joe collaborated with to target villagers in his desperate quest to find a kidney donor, as he required a transplant. Crowley assisted Joe in tracking down a suitable match before carrying out the operation, stealing Caleb's kidney and transplanting it into Joe's body.

Crowley subsequently turned against Joe and manipulated Kim into a romance in order to target her as well. However, his blackmail tactics and his ambitions to seize Kim's fortune were foiled when Kim and Joe joined forces to bring him down.

Fans are now convinced he could be back for revenge. One fan said, "I reckon Dr. Crowley." Another said: "It's the doctor that did the kidney opp!! 100%," as a third added: "Think it's the doctor who operated on Joe when they took Caleb's kidney."
