Prime Minister Modi will gift Doon-Delhi Economic Corridor today, will do a 12 km road show in Dehradun

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today gift the Doon-Delhi Economic Corridor, built at a cost of Rs 11,963 crore, to Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also do a 12 kilometer long road show in Dehradun and after offering prayers at Maa Daat Kali temple, he will address the public meeting. Tight security arrangements have been made in Dehradun regarding the Prime Minister’s visit and traffic routes have been diverted at many places.

With the construction of Doon-Delhi Economic Corridor, travel between Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi will become easier and faster. The total cost of this project is said to be around Rs 11,963 crore. It is believed that this corridor will improve connectivity between the three states and will also boost economic activities.

Take a look at Prime Minister Modi’s program

Prime Minister Modi’s program will start after reaching Jolly Grant Airport at around 10:30 am. After this they will reach Ganeshpur helipad in Saharanpur by helicopter. From here they will inspect the view point of the elevated corridor, where they will be welcomed with cultural programmes. After this, the Prime Minister will reach Maa Daat Kali temple by car through Asia’s longest elevated wildlife corridor. During this time, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can also be present with him.

The Prime Minister will offer prayers at Daat Kali temple for about 10 minutes. Here Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will welcome him. After this, the Prime Minister’s 12 kilometer long road show will start from the temple to Shaheed Jaswant Singh Maidan. During the road show, BJP workers and local people will welcome him by showering flowers at many places on the way.

Prime Minister will reach the public meeting venue at 12:30

The Prime Minister will reach the public meeting venue at around 12:30 pm, from where he will dedicate the Doon-Delhi Expressway to the public and address the gathering. This program will also be telecast live so that more and more people can watch it.

Tight security arrangements have been made in Dehradun regarding the Prime Minister’s visit. Police and security agencies have been deployed in many parts of the city. To control the crowd, traffic routes have been changed at many places and parking of buses coming for the rally has also been kept away. The police have also verified the people staying in hotels and guest houses in the city.

Forest department deployed ‘slingshot team’

The Forest Department has also made special arrangements to ensure that there is no problem during the program. Due to large number of monkeys around Maa Daat Kali temple, the Forest Department has deployed ‘Slingshot Team’. Forest personnel will keep the monkeys away from the road with the help of slingshot so that there is no hindrance in the Prime Minister’s convoy or the program.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has described this visit of Prime Minister Modi as important for the state. He says that the construction of Doon-Delhi Expressway will boost tourism and economic activities in Uttarakhand. Besides, the connectivity of the state will also be much better. This visit of the Prime Minister is considered important for the development of Uttarakhand.
