Sarah Ferguson has been "hiding out" at a £14k-a-week ski resort in Austria, it has been reported. The 66-year-old is reportedly staying at a £2,000-a-night chalet on the luxury resort. In exclusive pictures obtained by The Sun, Sarah is seen emerging from a blacked-out Mercedes people carrier near her chalet on Wednesday. Dressed in an all-black outfit and carrying a teal tote bag, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's ex-wife was also seen trying to keep her identity private with a light-coloured cap.

She has kept silent on calls to give evidence to US lawmakers on her Epstein links, with her last public appearance taking place in September 2025. Following her appearance at the Duchess of Kent's funeral on September 16 last year, Sarah is also known to have attended the christening of her youngest granddaughter Athena last December.

She was known to have been spotted in the back of a car, but her face was not publicly visible.

Speaking of the recent pictures of Sarah on the resort, a source said: "Fergie has been keeping an incredibly low profile while high up in the Alps.

"She hasn't been seen for a long time and has clearly wanted to keep it that way. Her choice of outfit when she popped out was obviously carefully chosen to help her avoid being recognised.

"The area is absolutely beautiful and it's very quiet most of the time, so it's the perfect place for a high-profile figure such as her to lie low when the heat is on."

Unlike his ex-wife, Andrew still remains in the UK and is living at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

Andrew has repeatedly and vehemently denied any wrongdoing in relation to his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. He was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office on February 19 - which also happened to be his birthday - but was released under investigation 11 hours later.
