In a report of Bollywood Hungama regarding 'King', it was said that 'Penn Marudhar' (Penn Studios) is going to distribute this film all over India. This company has purchased the theatrical distribution rights across India for Rs 250 crore. However, this is not the first time that 'Penn Marudhan' is distributing a Shahrukh film.

Apart from this, this company has also distributed the pictures 'Badla' and 'Ittefaq' made under the banner of Shahrukh's company Red Chillies. Now Shahrukh once again made a deal worth Rs 250 crore with this company.
'King' is being produced by Shahrukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies. Apart from Gauri, Siddharth Anand is also the producer of this film. Along with producing, he is also directing it. Fans have been excited about this film since its announcement. 'King' will be released in theaters on 24th December this year.
