Bengaluru News: A shocking incident has emerged from Bengaluru, Karnataka, that has deeply disturbed the community. A young woman has been accused of brutally murdering her boyfriend, tarnishing the essence of love and trust. Allegedly, she bound her boyfriend's hands and feet under the pretext of proposing to him in a Western style, before setting him ablaze.

The victim has been identified as Kiran. According to police reports, Kiran and the accused worked together at the same company and had been in a romantic relationship for some time. On Tuesday, while the woman's parents were away, she invited Kiran to her home.

The horror of the incident is underscored by the fact that the woman lured Kiran with a false promise of a 'surprise proposal.' She told him she wanted to propose in a 'foreign style.' Under this pretense, she blindfolded Kiran and tied him up with ropes. When Kiran questioned the tightness of his bindings, she reassured him, saying, 'This is how it's done in foreign style; just stay quiet.'

Plot and Cruelty Unveiled

Once Kiran was completely helpless, the woman doused him in petrol and ignited him. Unable to escape, Kiran succumbed to the flames right there. Disturbingly, the accused recorded the entire horrific act on her mobile phone.

Police Investigation and Revelations

Initially, the woman attempted to mislead the police, claiming she was in the bathroom when Kiran set himself on fire. However, the investigation by the Byadarahalli police revealed inconsistencies in her story. CCTV footage showed that Kiran did not have petrol on him, raising suspicions that the woman had brought it beforehand. The video found on her phone serves as the most significant evidence of this brutality. Currently, the police have detained the accused and are thoroughly investigating the underlying motives behind the murder, including any past disputes or revenge.
