CM INSPIRE Scheme: The Government of Meghalaya has launched a new scheme, 'CM-INSPIRE,' to encourage young individuals preparing for the Civil Services. Under this scheme, candidates who clear the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination (Prelims) will receive financial assistance of ₹50,000, while those who clear the Main Examination (Mains) will receive ₹1 lakh.
Announcing the scheme, Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma stated that its objective is to boost the declining participation of the state's youth in the Civil Services. He noted that the representation of Meghalaya's youth in the Civil Services has diminished over the past few years, and this initiative has been undertaken to address and rectify this trend.

**The Chief Minister's Message**
Addressing the youth, the Chief Minister affirmed that the government stands firmly behind them and urged them to remain focused on their goals. He encouraged the candidates to maintain their self-confidence and to work with unwavering diligence.
