Mysore: A unique story of love has come to light, where a 37-year-old woman fell in love with a 22-year-old boy who was 15 years younger than her. For this love of one year, the woman even left her 14 year old son and married the boy. Now the family members are opposing this marriage, after which the couple reached Mysore SP office on Tuesday for their safety.
The case pertains to 37 year old Kavitha, resident of Challaghatta, Bengaluru and 22 year old Bhaskar, resident of Rammanahalli, Mysore. Bhaskar used to drive TT (tempo traveller) and auto while staying at his elder mother's house in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, when Kavita Bande came to Makalamma temple, both of them got acquainted and then fell in love. Kavita's husband passed away 8 years ago and she also has a 14 year old son. Meanwhile, Kavitha's father has filed a complaint against Bhaskar at Kumbalgodu police station in Bengaluru for kidnapping of his daughter.
Kavita and Bhaskar ran away from home and got married at Ontikoppalu Venkateswara Temple in Mysore. It is alleged that a relative of Kavita (maternal uncle's son) has also threatened to kill her. Due to this fear, the couple left Bengaluru and came to Rammanahalli in Mysore and have now approached the police for their safety.
It is being told that Kavita used to stay at her father's house and do housekeeping work. The family wanted her to marry someone else, but she chose Bhaskar.
