Reports further state that the lawsuit also alleges the company environment was highly inappropriate and disrespectful toward women and mentions inappropriate remarks involving the company’s CEO, James Warren.
Lauren claimed that these actions violate U.S. laws particularly the Family and Medical Leave Act. On the other hand, Beast Industries has rejected the allegations calling them baseless and an attempt to gain publicity.
The company stated that Lauren was not terminated due to harassment but as part of organizational restructuring and the elimination of her position.
The company also presented screenshots of messages in which colleagues advised Lauren to rest during delivery however, Lauren maintains that she remained under continuous pressure from company policies.
