What is the Marking Scheme for the NCET 2026 Examination?
According to the marking scheme, the question paper consisted of 160 compulsory multiple-choice questions, carrying a total of 640 marks. Four marks are awarded for every correct answer, while one mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
This national-level examination is conducted for the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
