YouTube PIP Feature: YouTube has now started making this great feature available to everyone which was earlier only for Premium subscribers. This feature is YouTube's Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode, through which you can watch videos in the background. This is a feature that YouTube Premium subscribers have been enjoying for a long time, but now everyone will be able to use it. It was first made free for everyone in the US and is now being made available to all users around the world on Android and iOS.

The company has announced that Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode will soon be available for free to all users around the world. Till now this feature was only for premium users which was useful for watching any video in the background. Apps like Netflix also offer PiP mode, but it is a completely subscription based platform, so it may not be right to compare it.

With the help of PiP, the video you are watching on YouTube can be seen playing in a small player even after exiting the app. This way, you can let the video play in the background while still using your phone. To turn on PiP mode simply press the home button to exit the app.

It is good to see that the company is making a special premium feature available even for users without subscription. This feature will be available to all YouTube users around the world in the coming months. So, if you want to use the PiP feature, you won't need a YouTube subscription.
