The Met Gala is no ordinary “pose, post, party” night. This is a night where – pose but don't post, sit properly, don't touch anything and don't sit near a friend, there are rules to be followed. The responsibility of this event lies with 'Anna Wintour' and she has set many restrictions for all the guests attending it, which no star can break. These rules apply to everything from dress to behavior and make the event special.

First rule- no phone

The first rule of the Met Gala is no selfie and no phone. This means that here no one can take a selfie or post it on social media. Not only this, the phone cannot be used during dinner. No scrolling during dinner, no posting, no surreptitious selfies in between meals.

Smoking is completely banned at the Met Gala. This event takes place at a place where precious and historical things are kept. In such a situation, this rule has been implemented keeping their safety in mind. If someone breaks this rule, he can be fined heavily and can also be thrown out of the event.

Fifth rule- dress code

Every year the Met Gala has a theme and all the guests have to dress according to that theme. If someone does not follow this theme, he may have to face criticism. Keeping this theme in mind, celebrities start working on their outfits months in advance.
