Chief Minister Yadav Said that I have come here to the wheat procurement centre. We have earlier announced that the date for slot booking for wheat procurement has been extended in the entire state. Wheat procurement is going on continuously. I have been told that our procurement has become smooth and normal everywhere, but still we have expressed our sentiments with the farmers by making surprise visits. He said that information is being received that now payments are being made at regular intervals within seven days. Meanwhile, the work of transportation of goods of people is also going on. In such a situation, the weighing scales have also been increased. The government has also increased facilities.

He said that as per my knowledge till yesterday the government has procured 41 lakh metric tonnes of wheat. We can increase our capacity further.
