TCS FY26 dividend schedule: Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) board of directors announced that the company has fixed the official record date for its upcoming ₹31 per share final dividend issue in the final week of May 2026.

As per the NSE filing, TCS fixed the record date for the final dividend issue on Monday, May 25, 2026, to determine the eligibility of the shareholders for the payment. "Pursuant to Regulation 42 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Company has fixed Monday, May 25, 2026, as the Record Date for determining entitlement of Members to final dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2026," the company informed the exchanges. The IT firm disclosed that the shareholders, both in physical form and beneficial owners, will be eligible for the final dividend payment if they hold the asset as of the close of business hours on May 25. The timeline suggests that TCS will pay its final dividend to shareholders on Friday, June 12, 2026, subject to deduction of tax at source, according to the official announcement.

TCS dividend issue TCS's board of directors, after its quarterly meeting on April 9, announced that the company has recommended a final dividend issue of ₹31 per share with a face value of ₹1 apiece for shareholders, subject to the necessary approvals in the upcoming annual general meeting (AGM). "We would like to inform you that at the board meeting held today, the directors have recommended a final dividend of ₹31 per equity share of ₹1 each of the company, which shall be paid on the third day from the conclusion of the 31st Annual General Meeting, subject to approval of the shareholders of the company," TCS informed the stock exchanges. This means that every eligible shareholder will receive a dividend payment of ₹31 per share for every stock they own in the company, up to one day ahead of the pre-determined record date of the corporate action.

NSE data showed that TCS has issued three interim dividend actions and one special dividend for its shareholders in the financial year ended 2025-26. The IT firm paid a ₹11 per share interim dividend in July 2025, a ₹11 per share interim dividend in October 2025, and a ₹11 per share interim dividend along with a ₹46 per share special dividend in January 2026, as per the exchange data. Shares of TCS closed 0.33% higher at ₹2,435.40 after Wednesday's stock market session, compared to ₹2,427.30 at the previous market close. The company announced its record date update after the market operating hours on May 5. The shares jumped nearly 2% during the intraday session on May 6.
