Incident Overview

In Rajasthan, a bride mysteriously vanished shortly after her wedding, prompting her husband's family to search extensively for her. Frustrated by the lack of leads, the groom decided to file a complaint with the police. This incident took place in Bharatpur district, specifically in the village of Nagla Bhad.

According to reports, the groom's family had paid 3 lakh rupees to the bride's family as part of the marriage arrangement. However, just 13 days post-wedding, the bride disappeared from their home.

Details of the Case

The victim, Narayan Singh Gurjar from Nagla Bhad, lodged a report at the local police station. He informed the authorities that Hari Singh Gurjar, a resident of Bhagatpura village in the Dholpur district, had facilitated the marriage. On March 6, Hari visited Narayan's home and introduced himself as an acquaintance of Ramdhan Gurjar from the Ghatigaon area of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, proposing to marry his sister Sunita.

Narayan agreed to the marriage proposal without hesitation and handed over the 3 lakh rupees on March 9, when Hari, along with his associates Jeetu and Ramdin, came to finalize the wedding arrangements.

The Disappearance

According to Narayan, on the evening of March 22, he went to the forest for a bathroom break, leaving Sunita alone at home. Upon his return, he found her missing. Despite searching the vicinity, he could not locate her. He then contacted Jeetu and the intermediary Hari, who dismissed his concerns, claiming they had fulfilled their part by conducting the marriage. When Narayan called again, they threatened him.

After 13 days of searching, Narayan approached the police to file a complaint, alleging that Jeetu, Ramdin, and Sunita had deceived him, resulting in a loss of 3 lakh rupees. The police have registered the case and are currently investigating the matter.
