How to choose the right bra size?

Many women make some common mistakes while buying bras. Often, girls focus on the color, design and pattern of the bra, but they are unable to take the right decision when it comes to fitting. Having a wrong size bra is not only a waste of money, but it also spoils the look of your outfit and makes you feel uncomfortable throughout the day.

Wrong bra size can cause problems like back and shoulder pain, deep strap marks and suffocation. If you are always confused about the right size, then you no longer need to worry. With the help of a simple inch tape, you can find out your correct bra size.

Step 1- How to measure band size?

First, you need to know your band size. For this, take a one-inch tape and wrap it just below your breasts. Hold the tape as tightly as you want your bra band to be. Round the number to the nearest integer. For example, if the measurement is 24.6 inches, count it as 25.

If your number is even, add 4 inches to it. If the number is odd, add 5 inches to it. The number obtained by adding these numbers will be your final band size.

Step 2- How to measure cup size?

Now, wrap the measuring tape gently around the fullest part of the bust. Keep in mind that the tape should neither be too tight nor loose. When taking measurements, keep the tape straight and without any wrinkles or folds. If the number is in decimal, round it to the nearest integer, such as 34.5 inches equals 35.

Step 3- Determine the final cup size

To know the cup size (like A, B, C etc.), first measure your bust and band size. Then, subtract the band size from the bust size. The difference between the two will determine your correct cup size.

For example, if your bust size is 34 inches and band size is 32 inches, the difference will be 2 inches. This means your correct size is 34B.
