New Delhi: Telugu actor Bharath Kanth passed away at the age of 31 in a road accident in Hyderabad on May 10, 2026. He was accompanied with his friend, cinematographer and YouTube artist G Sai Trilok, who also lost his life in the car crash.
According to police, Bharath and Sai were travelling in a car on the Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road near Adibatla when the actor lost control of the car and crashed it into a container lorry. Both of them belonged from Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh. Following the accident, police registered the case and shifted the bodies for the post-mortem.
Adibatla Police said in a statement, “This incident happened last night, after their car collided with a truck at Exit No. 12 on the ORR. We have registered a case, shifted the bodies of the deceased for post-mortem examination, and are investigating the matter.”
Bharath and Sai Trilok were reportedly travelling to Hyderabad at the time of the accident. Police suspect over-speeding and driver fatigue could have led to the crash.
After his sudden demise, Bharath’s last Instagram post went viral. The post featured the actor at a mall in Bangkok. He captioned it, “Naan itha solliye aaganum. Nee avvalavu azhagu! (I have to say this. You are such a beautiful)”
Bharath Kanth is an actor, content creator, and a dancer, who has worked predominately in the Telugu film industry. He is best known for his films Gramam and Tenant. He also featured in the recently released Telugu show, Geethanjali on YouTube and Parvathi Parameshwarulu, which was released on YouTube in 2024. He also gained popularity through hid independent Telugu content on social media.
