An unidentified EuroMillions winner is being urged to come forward, with just weeks remaining to claim a £112,000 prize that could otherwise be lost forever.
The winning EuroMillions ticket was purchased in Powys, Wales on December 12 last year - yet nobody has come forward to claim it. The deadline to do so is June 10.
With the clock counting down, the National Lottery is appealing to anyone who was in the area around that date - whether local residents or those simply passing through - to rummage through old bags, drawers and coat pockets in case the winning slip is tucked away somewhere.
The ticket matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star. The winning numbers were 7, 25, 30, 37, and 41 with Lucky Star numbers 5 and 11.
Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: "With time running out, we're asking anyone who was in Powys in the days leading up to the December 12 draw to stop and think - did you buy a Euromillions ticket?"
"Whether you live locally, were visiting family, or just passing through please check any places you might have stored your pink ticket. We've seen major prizes claimed right up to the last minute but the clock is ticking for this winner."
Should nobody come forward before the deadline, the prize, together with all accumulated interest, will be redirected towards National Lottery-funded projects across the UK, reports Wales Online.
As with all National Lottery draws, players are afforded 180 days to claim their prize. Those with queries, or anyone who believes they hold the winning ticket for any National Lottery draw within the 180-day deadline, can reach the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050.
This follows news that two UK ticket-holders each scooped more than £41m in the EuroMillions draw on April 21.
The winning numbers were 13, 16, 29, 40 and 47 with the Lucky Star numbers 3 and 4. Two tickets purchased in the UK and one bought in France matched all seven numbers and split the jackpot, claiming £41,844,862.30 each.
Andy Carter said at the time: "It's been another great night for EuroMillions players as two lucky UK winners have won an incredible share of tonight's £126M jackpot prize.
"These lucky ticket-holders join the £181M jackpot winner from 10 March - another big UK win. Check your tickets and get in touch if you think you might be one of tonight's lucky winners."
