The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 12 Board Examination 2026 results shortly. Millions of students have been eagerly awaiting their results for a long time. According to reports, the CBSE will announce the Class 12 results this month. However, the Board has not yet declared an official date.
Once the results are released, students will be able to check their scores on the official CBSE website, results.cbse.nic.in. Additionally, results can be checked via DigiLocker, the UMANG App, and the IVRS phone service. The Board has advised students to activate their DigiLocker accounts in advance so that their digital marksheets can be easily downloaded as soon as the results are published.
When Were the Exams Held?
The CBSE Board conducted the Class 12 examinations this year from February 17, 2026, to April 10, 2026. Following this, the evaluation of answer sheets was completed rapidly. Looking at records from previous years, CBSE typically releases results during the second week of May.
Consequently, it is anticipated that the CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 will also be released by the second week of May. In previous years, the Board released results on May 13, 2024; May 12, 2023; and May 6, 2019. Based on this pattern, it is considered likely that the results will be announced soon this time as well.

Why is Activating DigiLocker Important?
The CBSE Board has advised all students to activate their DigiLocker accounts. According to the Board, digital mark sheets, passing certificates, and migration certificates will be made available on DigiLocker this year as well. If students activate their DigiLocker accounts in advance, they will be able to download their digital mark sheets immediately after the results are declared. For this, the 6-digit security PIN provided by the school will be required.

Check Results via IVRS
In the absence of an internet connection, students can also check their results using the IVRS service.
During the phone call, students will need to enter their Roll Number and other necessary details. Subsequently, they will be able to hear their marks directly over the phone.
