Jalore is now set to receive a direct rail link to the national capital, Delhi, for the very first time. On May 22, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will flag off the inaugural Bhuj-Delhi Special Train. This new overnight train will travel via Jalore, Pali Marwar, and Marwar Junction before reaching Delhi. This new rail service is expected to boost business, tourism, and employment opportunities in the region.

Regarding this new train, it will travel to Delhi via Bhildi, Jalore, Pali Marwar, and Marwar Junction. This establishes a direct rail link between Jalore and Delhi for the first time in history. Local residents had been demanding this rail service for a long time—a demand that is now finally being fulfilled. Locals believe that this initiative will give fresh momentum to the region’s development.

Approval for the Rail Service was granted on April 8

It is worth noting that Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw had approved this rail service on April 8, and he is now set to flag off the train on May 22. This will be a fully overnight service, allowing passengers to travel at night and reach their destinations comfortably by morning. This will also result in significant time savings for travelers.

The Train Will Halt at These Major Stations

The Bhuj-Delhi rail service will pass through several key stations. These include Anjar, Gandhidham, Bhachau, Bhildi, Dhanera, Ranawara, Marwar Bhinmal, Modran, Jalore, Mokalsar, Samdari, Luni, Pali Marwar, Marwar Junction, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Bandikui, Alwar, and Rewari. Notably, this initiative will make travel between Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Delhi significantly easier than before.

Benefits for the People of These Regions

This rail service is being hailed as a major boon, particularly for the residents of Jalore, Pali, and the Sirohi-Jalore Lok Sabha constituency. It will assist local traders, farmers, and small-scale industries in transporting their products to larger markets. Furthermore, the tourism sector stands to benefit as well, thanks to improved accessibility to various religious and historical tourist destinations.

A Boost for Trade and Tourism

The launch of this train service is expected to stimulate commercial activity. Small business owners and farmers will now be able to transport their goods to major cities with greater speed and efficiency. Additionally, easier travel to tourist destinations across Rajasthan and Gujarat is likely to lead to an increase in tourist footfall. Currently, the Ranikhet Express is the only direct train operating during the day between Pali and Delhi; consequently, this new train is set to prove itself as an excellent alternative for travelers.
