Leeds United are preparing for their second consecutive season in the Premier League after securing a 14th-place finish last term. The focus now shifts to understanding how their current squad’s market value measures up against the teams they will face in the upcoming campaign.

The newly-promoted Leeds side managed to stay eight points clear of the relegation zone. After their 3-2 defeat to Manchester City in November — a game that marked a key turning point — they went on to lose only five more league matches for the remainder of the season. As per data from Transfermarkt, the comparison of squad values provides a clear picture of the hierarchy within the division.

Leeds concluded the season with 47 points — just two shy of Everton and Newcastle United. Under Daniel Farke’s management, the team finished two points above Crystal Palace, three ahead of Nottingham Forest, and four better than Tottenham Hotspur, who narrowly survived on the final day of the campaign.

At the bottom end of the table, West Ham United were relegated despite earning 39 points, joining Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers in dropping down to the Championship. Taking their places in the Premier League next season will be Coventry City, Ipswich Town, and Hull City, adding fresh competition to the mix.

Leading the Premier League in total squad value are Manchester City, valued at €1.32 billion. They are followed by Arsenal at €1.23 billion, Chelsea at €1.16 billion, and Liverpool at €1.02 billion. Tottenham Hotspur’s squad is valued at €811 million, while Manchester United stand at €747.40 million.
