Weather changed in Delhi-NCR, relief from heat, possibility of strong winds and rain

Delhi NCR Weather : The weather trend in the country’s capital Delhi and NCR seems to be changing these days, due to which people have got some relief from the scorching heat and heat wave. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of partly cloudy sky in Delhi-NCR today due to the effect of western disturbance and cyclonic circulation in the surrounding areas.

Changing mood due to western disturbance

The Meteorological Department estimates that a new western disturbance may become active in North-West India from June 3, whose impact will be seen in Delhi-NCR as well. Due to this, there may be movement of clouds, strong winds and light rain in some areas in the coming days.

Temperature normal at many places

On Monday, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 36.3 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 24.9 degrees Celsius. During the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature was between 22 to 25 degrees and the maximum temperature was between 35 to 36 degrees Celsius. Temperatures were below normal (-3.1 to -5.0 degrees Celsius) at many places. During this period, south-easterly winds blew at a speed of 15 to 20 km per hour, while with gusts the speed reached up to 37 km per hour.

Temperature 36 to 38 degrees Celsius

For Tuesday, IMD has predicted that the minimum temperature will be between 25 to 27 degrees and the maximum temperature will be between 36 to 38 degrees Celsius. The sky may be partly to densely cloudy and there is a possibility of light rain with thunder for some time.

Apart from this, the wind speed is expected to be 40 to 50 km per hour with gusts reaching up to 60 km per hour. According to IMD, the maximum temperature may increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next 5 to 6 days, while the minimum temperature will also gradually increase.

People fear to be alert

The Meteorological Department has advised people to remain alert and avoid standing in open places and under trees during strong winds and rain, as the possibility of accidents may increase during this time.
