In this episode of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', Rio decides to inform Karan about Niyati's accident. Niyati then reveals to Rio that Ansh Virani is his father. Niyati tells Rio how she and Ansh met and fell in love, but before they could get married, Tulsi killed him. Niyati gets panicked thinking Karan betrayed her, but Rio defends him and says they just talked.
Tulsi and Niyati's confrontationMihir insists that Tulsi persuade Niyati and Rio to return to Shantiniketan. However, Niyati accuses Tulsi of killing Ansh and says she has no right to keep them in the house. Nandini is happy to learn that Rio and Niyati refuse to return home. She argues that since Niyati and Ansh were not married, Niyati has no reason to stay in the house. But Tulsi strongly condemns her by saying Rio is Ansh's son and Ansh was Tulsi's son, so Rio has complete rights to stay in Shantiniketan. Tulsi tells Nandini not to accuse her because she accepted Karan, who is Madira's son, and always believed her own son. Tulsi reminds her that she is the one who killed her own son, Ansh, so Nandini should never accuse her of anything.
Parth's doubts about Rio Parth doubts Rio 's hidden intentions behind his refusal to return home. Parth supports Nandini's objection against Niyati and Rio because Nandini has suffered so much because of them. However, Tulsi is determined to give Rio his rights.
