Enrique Riquelme, a candidate for the presidency of Real Madrid, has once again made headlines just hours before the club members cast their votes.
Speaking about Jurgen Klopp, despite facing opposition to his claim, Riquelme stated: “I’m almost certain that we will have Klopp as Real Madrid’s manager next season.”
He also elaborated on why the German coach has not yet managed the Madrid side: “The president cannot interfere in decisions related to the dressing room; that’s the reason Klopp has not been willing to take charge of the team so far.”
It now remains to be seen whether the club members will elect Riquelme as the new president.
The final decision will be made this Sunday when the elections take place.
