Astrologer Peethadhishwar Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing it of merely doing politics in the name of mother cow in the country and terming the Ayodhya Ram temple trust as fake. He said in clear words that if the real intention of BJP was to give the cow the status of the Mother of the Nation, then by now concrete and effective steps would have been taken in this direction, because getting power by taking votes in the name of the cow is one thing and making serious and committed efforts to give it the honor of the Mother of the Nation is a completely different matter.
Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati was speaking to media representatives during the Gorakshartha Dharmayuddha Yatra Samvad program held at Nirav Kunj in Sikandra, which was organized by All India Hindu Mahasabha. On this occasion, he also said that this campaign to make Mother Cow the mother of the nation cannot be successful only through the efforts of any one organization or individual, but for this, all sections of the society, especially the youth, will have to come forward and unless this demand is given the form of a large mass movement, it will be very difficult to achieve this sacred objective. Not much can be expected from the present government in this regard, Shankaracharya added. Many dignitaries including coordinator Sachin Chaturvedi, Nazir Ahmed, Shambhunath Choubey, Rakesh Aggarwal, Pallavi Mahajan were present in this important program.
During his statement, Shankaracharya also took a serious dig at the functioning of the Ram Temple Trust located in Ayodhya. He alleged that the entire trust of Ayodhya Ram temple is fake, and traditional religious systems have been deliberately ignored in the formation of this trust. He also reminded that serious allegations of irregularities in land purchase had come to light before the construction of the temple, and these allegations were not taken into proper cognizance, putting a question mark on the credibility of the Trust.
The 81-day Gavishti Yatra conducted by Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati was given a grand welcome on Monday at the Central Park located in Awas Vikas Colony, where a large number of cow devotees, saints and intellectuals gathered. The most special thing about this program was that the representatives of the Muslim community also participated enthusiastically in it, which presents a unique example of social harmony and national unity. These representatives of the society displayed various posters in support of declaring cow as the mother of the nation, thereby sending the message that this is not just a religious subject but an issue of national importance.
The speakers emphasized that cow protection is not limited to just a religious subject, but it is the foundation of the country’s agricultural system, environmental balance and rural economy. Mahant Gaurav Giri of ancient Kailash temple, Mahant Subhash Giri and Mahant Abhishek Krishna Parashar of Rawali temple said in their address that this Gavishti Yatra is doing important work of re-establishing Sanatan values and awakening national consciousness. Many people including Saif Ali Abbas, Salman Qureshi, Sanjay Yadav, Amit Jadaun, Rahul Chaturvedi were present in this program and coordinator Dr. Madan Mohan Sharma expressed his gratitude to everyone.
During his 81-day Gavishti Yatra, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati also released ‘Dedipyaman Dwipithadheeshwar’, the biography of Brahmalin Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati. The author of this book, Dr. Deepika Upadhyay, said on the occasion of its release that it was a challenging task for her to cover the huge personality of Brahmalin Dwipeethadhishwar in limited pages. He also expressed that the life of a Sanyasi is completely dedicated to the service of society and religion, but behind that sacrifice, the silent sacrifice of his mother is equally important, which is often ignored. An attempt has been made to give expression to such deep feelings and life values in the book, said Dr. Upadhyay. Shankaracharya gave his blessings to the crowd present on this occasion and then proceeded towards Sikandra.
