Nottingham Forest have reportedly set their asking price for midfielder Elliot Anderson at over £125 million for the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to The Athletic, Manchester City have tabled an initial offer worth £106 million, with additional performance-related bonuses that could raise the total value beyond £120 million.
However, Forest are holding firm on their valuation, which is said to surpass the amount Liverpool paid for Alexander Isak last summer.
Manchester United are also interested in signing Anderson, but sources suggest the club are reluctant to engage in a bidding war. Instead, United may shift focus towards other midfield options, including West Ham’s Mateus Fernandes and Bournemouth’s Alex Scott.
As reported by Sky Sports, United are simultaneously exploring reinforcements at left-back. Newcastle’s Lewis Hall and Fulham’s Antonee Robinson have both emerged as potential candidates for that position.
In another development, Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol has attracted attention from Real Madrid, with manager Jose Mourinho reportedly identifying him as a key defensive target.
Mourinho is also believed to be eyeing Arsenal’s Riccardo Calafiori, though Gvardiol is being considered as an alternative to strengthen Real Madrid’s defensive setup.
Meanwhile, Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport reports that Juventus are attempting to secure the services of Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez this summer.
Elsewhere, Tottenham Hotspur have finalised the transfer of defender Marcos Senesi following his exit from Bournemouth.
