TIFR Vacancy 2026: The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, has released a recruitment notification. Key Recruitment Conditions
All positions are based at TIFR, Colaba (Mumbai). Selected candidates may be transferred to other TIFR centers or field stations if required. The Project Administrative Assistant (Post No. 30) position is purely temporary and non-pensionable; the tenure may be extended up to a maximum of 3 years based on performance.
Appointments for the posts of Scientific Officer, Junior Engineer, Scientific Assistant, Tradesman, and Laboratory Assistant will initially be for a period of 3 years, including a 1-year probation period.
Continuation of employment after 3 years will be subject to a performance review; upon successful completion, there will be an opportunity to serve until the age of 60.
