Ram Mandir Donation Scam: A complaint has been given to the police in the case of theft of offerings in Ram temple. A person named Santosh Dubey has given a written complaint at Ram Janmabhoomi police station, alleging embezzlement of donations in the donation box. It was claimed that a large amount of gold, silver, jewelery and cash is donated by devotees to the temple every day. There were large scale irregularities in the management of donated funds and precious jewellery.
The complainant alleged that crores of rupees were embezzled with the connivance of some officials and employees associated with the trust. The letter claimed that money and valuables worth more than Rs 200 crore were embezzled. The allegation is that theft and embezzlement was carried out by hiding the actual amount by allegedly falsifying the account books.
It was said in the complaint that in some cases, information came to light about the recovery of valuable items related to the temple even from small thieves. The complainant lodged an FIR against the accused and demanded their arrest and polygraph test. Also, a demand was raised for recovery of donated money, gold, silver, jewelery and coins and conducting an impartial investigation.
The complainant said that this alleged act has hurt the religious sentiments of Ram devotees and Hindu society. Santosh Dubey is making serious allegations by directly naming Champat Rai, Anil Mishra, Gopalji Rao and Tinnu Yadav.
